Dr. Benjamin is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He earned his endodontics specialty degree from UT Health Science Center San Antonio and is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, San Antonio District Dental Society and is a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

More about Dr. Benjamin
Dr. Benjamin was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to Florida with his family at a young age. In 2007 he attended the University of Florida for dental school. After graduation, he joined a private practice and served as a part-time clinical instructor in the oral surgery department. His pursuit to further advance his knowledge and skill set led him to complete a 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Audie L. Murphy Veterans Hospital in San Antonio. It was there that he received training in a broad scope of procedures including cosmetic dentistry, full mouth reconstruction, endodontics, periodontics, implant placement/restoration, orthodontics and IV sedation. Following his residency, he worked at the Veterans hospital serving patients’ dental needs and teaching advanced dental procedures in the residency program.
As a third-generation dentist, Dr. Benjamin has always appreciated all disciplines of dentistry. The gratification he receives from taking patients out of pain along with his detail-oriented nature led him to pursue his passion for endodontics. He currently serves as a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Benjamin married his high school sweetheart, Laura, who is also a dentist. Together they enjoy spending time with their two children Eli and Sloan. Other interests include exploring different cultures through traveling and cooking, running with his dog, hiking, and surfing.
