“It Shouldn’t Hurt to Smile” as we like to say at Advanced Smile Care (ASC), where we believe that you should not be deprived of a smile purely because of financial challenges.
That’s why our practice, located at 3829 Lockhill Selma Road in North Central San Antonio, is teaming up with Dentistry From the Heart (DFTH) to host its 9th annual event designed to deliver smiles to those in need.
The event on Saturday May 12, 2018 is open to anyone interested in free dental care. You are encouraged to show up early, however, because of the limited availability of treatment time. This is a first-come-first-served opportunity.
“We have been making people smile for nearly 40 years in San Antonio at Advanced Smile Care. Dentistry from the Heart gives us the chance to reinforce our commitment to making a difference in San Antonio,” said Dr. Jason Kboudi of Advanced Smile Care. “While we can’t help everyone, we will help everyone we can.”
At the event, doctors start working on patients at 7 a.m. sharp, but historically, the line starts forming overnight with people patiently waiting for their turn in the chair. The ASC team does its best to serve as many people as possible with the help of hygienists, dental assistants, and other private practice dentists from San Antonio, all looking to give back to our community.

Last year, ASC served 170 adults with basic teeth cleanings, cavity fillings, and simple tooth extractions at its DFTH event. If patients need care beyond this event, ASC provides the names of free clinics in San Antonio which can further serve their dental needs. DFTH strives to leave a legacy that transcends the gift of free dental services. The event gives San Antonians a new reason to smile about living in a city where the community is eager to give back and make a difference.
The event – for adults 18 years of age or older – takes place on Saturday, May 12th from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
